We stand for a child’s ability to maintain family relationships where safe, and for a serious response to evidence of harm. A family label should never substitute for examination of the child’s circumstances.
CRC Article 9 and Article 8 of the European Convention are central reference points. Our demands concern safe contact arrangements, support and review when an arrangement is not working. [1] [2]
Research & practiceChildren’s rights are not served by treating a mother’s word as inherently reliable or a father’s care as inherently less important. Decisions need evidence, not a hierarchy of parents.
