Where we press for change
A language or cultural connection should not be lost by default while a family dispute is being decided. We call for language needs and established relationships to be recorded and considered in education, care and proceedings.
Our legal analysis separates nationality, cultural identity and communication needs, drawing on CRC Articles 8, 29 and 30. Learning Georgian and preserving a family language can work together. [1]
